EN LONG:
Les deux associations d'artistes ViArt et CAL organisent une biennale pour les étudiants en arts visuels (et jeunes artistes qui ne sont plus étudiants) âgés entre 20 et 29 ans.
Cette exposition est ouverte aux divers domaines de l'expression des Arts plastiques, toutes techniques confondues, sans discrimination des tendances et courants esthétiques, pour autant que les œuvres répondent à des exigences de qualité artistique, de recherche, d'innovation et originalité.
Dans un premier temps, les jeunes envoient leur candidature avec une présentation d'un projet élaboré à . Puis, le comité d'organisation de la Biennale fera la sélection des projets qui pourront participer à l'exposition de la Biennale à
la galerie d'art de Vianden "Veiner Konstgalerie". Là, un jury – composé de membres du CAL, de ViArt et d'artistes neutres – sélectionnera les lauréats.
Les prix du CAL sont: un espace d'exposition dans le cadre de leur Salon annuel qui se tient en novembre.
Les prix de ViArt sont: un séjour de 3 semaines en résidence d'artiste à Vianden avec exposition à la Veiner Konstgalerie, durant l'été de l'année suivante.
En plus, il y a un prix du public à la fin de l'exposition de la Biennale, offert par un des sponsors de l'événement.
Par la suite, des photos de la Biennale seront publiées dans les brochures respectives du CAL et de ViArt, ainsi que sur ce site de la Biennale géré par Viart.
(Aucun membre du jury ne peut présenter des œuvres à l'exposition. Le jury travaille en toute indépendance. Ses réunions ne sont pas publiques, ses délibérations sont secrètes, ses décisions sont sans appel.)

The two artists' associations ViArt and CAL organize a biennale for art students of fine arts (and young artists who aren't students anymore) at the age of 20 to 29 years.
The exhibition is open to the different forms of expression in the plastic arts, all techniques included, with no discrimination between aesthetic trends and movements, provided that the works meet the criteria of artistic quality, research, innovation and originality.
As a first step, young people send their application with a presentation of a developed project to . Then, the organizing committee of the Biennial will make the selection of projects that will participate in the exhibition of the Biennale at the Vianden art gallery "Veiner Konstgalerie". There, a jury – composed of members members, ViArt and neutral artists – will select the laureates.
The CAL awards are: an exhibition space as part of their annual Salon-show in November.
The ViArt awards are: a 3-week stay in an artist's residence in Vianden with an exhibition at the Veiner Konstgalerie, during the summer of the following year.
In addition, there is a public prize at the end of the Biennale exhibition, offered by one of the sponsors of the event.
Subsequently, photos of the Biennale will be published in the respective brochures of the CAL and ViArt. And on this Biennale website by ViArt.
(No member of the selection board may present works for exhibition. The selection board works in total independence. Its meetings are not public, its deliberations are secret; its decisions are not subject to appeal.)

Die zwei Künstlervereinigungen ViArt und CAL organisieren alle zwei Jahre zusam-men eine Biennale für Kunststudenten der bildenden Künste (und nicht mehr studierende junge Künstler) im Alter von 20 bis 29 Jahren.
Diese Ausstellung ist offen für die ver-schiedenen Ausdrucksbereiche der bildenden Kunst, wobei alle Techniken ohne Diskriminierung von Trends und ästhetischen Richtungen akzeptiert werden, sofern die Werke den Anforderungen von künstlerischer Qualität, Forschung, Innovation und Originalität entsprechen.
In einem ersten Schritt senden die jungen Künstlerkandidaten eine Bewerbung mit einer Präsentation eines Projekts an . Anschließend trifft das Organisationskomitee der Biennale die Auswahl der Projekte, die an der Aus-stellung der Biennale in der Viandener Kunstgalerie "Veiner Konstgalerie" teilnehmen. Dort wählt dann eine Jury –bestehend aus Mitgliedern von CAL, ViArt und neutralen Künstler-Mitgliedern – die Preisträger aus.
Die CAL Gewinne bestehen aus: einem Ausstellungsraum im Rahmen ihrer jährlichen Salon-Ausstellung im November.
Die ViArt Gewinne bestehen aus: einem 3-wöchigen Aufenthalt in einer Künstlerresidenz in Vianden mit Ausstellung in der Veiner Konstgalerie im Sommer des Folgejahres.
Zusätzlich gibt es am Ende der Biennale-Ausstellung einen Publikumspreis, von einem der Sponsoren der Veranstaltung.
Im Anschluss werden Fotos der Biennale in den jeweiligen Broschüren vom CAL und von ViArt veröffentlicht werden. Sowie auch auf dieser Biennale-Webseite von ViArt.
(Kein Jurymitglied darf Werke auf der Ausstellung präsentieren. Die Jury arbeitet unabhängig. Ihre Sitzungen sind nicht öffentlich, ihre Beratungen sind geheim, ihre Entscheidungen sind ohne Berufung.)
