Nathalie Lesure wurde 1995 in Luxemburg geboren und wuchs in einer Kindheit in der Nähe des Waldes auf. Durch sein Studium an der Universität und an den Beaux-Arts in Frankreich prägt dieser Hintergrund ihn stark

Born in 1995 in Luxembourg, Nathalie Lesure was nurtured by a childhood close to the forest. Through university studies and at the Beaux-Arts in France, this background strongly influences his

Née en 1995 au Luxembourg, Nathalie Lesure a été nourrie par une enfance proche de la forêt. À travers des études universitaires et aux Beaux-Arts en France, ce bagage influence fortement sa démarche plastique. En effet, il y a une forte présence de plantes médicinales, d’ossements d’animaux et de matières premières naturelles. La dimension de la métamorphose, en tant que transformation physique ou mentale, traverse toutes ses créations. Faisant souvent référence à des rituels, ses œuvres recherchent des stades de transformation et d’états hybrides. Une interfécondité entre la nature et l'humain se traduit par un flux de formes organiques dans la peinture, la gravure et l’écriture et l’édition. La déformation du corps humain et le vivant, la mutation continuelle des êtres, deviennent des éléments essentiels. C’est une sensibilité et une mutation violente de la chair.

Caroline Schmit ist eine ökologisch inspirierte, pflanzenliebende Künstlerin aus Luxemburg, die versucht, einen kleinen Unterschied zu machen. Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt der Art und Weise, wie wir das Nicht-Menschliche betrachten und mit ihm interagieren, sowie den Auswirkungen, die die Natur auf uns hat, sowohl physisch als auch psychisch.

Caroline Schmit is an ecologically inspired plant-loving artist based in Luxembourg trying to make a small difference. She’s especially interested in the way we look at the non-human and interact with it, as well as the impact nature leaves on us, physically as well as psychologically.
The artist was already fascinated by the plant world and art at an early age. However, it is only in recent years, during her studies in fine arts in Amiens and Strasbourg, that she began to combine the two in multidisciplinary projects: she practices drawing, video, sculpture, engraving and installation. Interested in the exchanges that can take place between humans and plants, she creates works that speak of traces as well as conciliation. Caroline Schmit has exhibited in the Salle des Pendus in Lasauvage during the European Heritage Days. She also participated in the Jugendkonschtwoch in Differdange (2019 and 2021), at the Biennale des étudiants en art in Vianden (2019 and 2021), at the Syndicat Potentiel in Strasbourg (2020), at the last Summer Dance in Erpeldange (2018 and 2019) and at the Food For Your Senses Festival, Kirchberg (2019). She lives and works in Luxembourg.

Caroline Schmit est une artiste écologique et passionnée de plantes basée au Luxembourg qui essaie de faire une petite différence. Elle s’intéresse particulièrement à la façon dont nous regardons le non-humain et interagissons avec lui, ainsi qu’à l’impact que la nature nous laisse, tant physiquement que psychologiquement.
L’artiste était déjà fasciné par le monde végétal et l’art dès son plus jeune âge.
